Интервю с Vogg (DECAPITATED)
MH18: Welcome back to Bulgaria. What do you remember from your first visit here in 2011?
Vogg: Which show? I don’t remember… Probably a great show, for sure! I mean it was from the Balkan tour. We were on some other places too back then. I don’t remember Exactly every show.
MH18: What do you expect from tonight’s gig?
Vogg: It’s great sound, it’s very big room, this tour has a great promotion. What I expect… I don’t know. Every night we actually had a good show. People… they saw us probably for the first time, but they like us, like our music. I can’t wait to do this here.
MH18: How is the tour with Children of Bodom going so far?
Vogg: Very good! Those guys are very cool! Not problems at all.
MH18: You’re on tour almost in all Europe. How do you see the metal scene nowadays?
Vogg: We have many festivals is Europe and all around, many metalheads. I think the metal scene is in very good condition.
MH18: Your last album „Carnival is Forever“ was released in 2011. Do you have new material already?
Vogg: Yeah, we have some ideas. And we have studio booked for the next year in February. So, album – next year.
MH18: Do you strive to be technical, or does it just flow this way naturally?
Vogg: We change every album. Every single one is different and the next one will be different too.
MH18: On tour you have Kevin Foley behind the drumkit. I know he’s playing in Benighted and some other bands but I have to ask you – are you negotiating to get him as a full-time member?
Vogg: We’ll see… Probably not, because he actually help us right now to do this tour and that’s all. For the future we are looking for someone from Poland.
MH18: What happened with the previous drummer?
Vogg: Paul? Just doesn’t fit at all.
MH18: What album in your career is the most important for the band and why?
Vogg: I don’t know. I mean, every album is important. The first („Winds Of Creation“, 2000) album was important because we showed the people we are here. “Nihility” (2002) is important because the song “Spheres of Madness” is in it. “Organic Hallucinosis” (2006) is important because we added very fresh new style.
MH18: What inspired you to create the band back in 1996 and did you believe that in 2013 you will still be around?
Vogg: No, I didn’t believe. We were very young back then. In the beginning we wanted just to sit and play and if everyone told me that we will be touring all over the world I wouldn’t believe.
MH18: Do you have a favorite metal album for 2013? Any new bands you found?
Vogg: No, not really. I just don’t look for this. I don’t have time, I’m busy. And I am more into oldschool , old stuff.
MH18: You’ve been involved in death metal for almost 15 years now. Do you have any advice for the kids that plan on starting a band?
Vogg: I always tell the same that… (creepy voice): If someone offers you some deal to sign, be worry about it because they can take your soul forever…
Just practice, practice, practice and believe in what you’re doing. And DON’T do “cocking”!
MH18: What are your future plans, concerning Decapitated? Would you like to come back to Bulgaria?
Vogg: Yeah, we will be glad to come back here, if someone invite us. Send us e-mail so we can talk.
MH18: Tell something to your fans who cannot be here tonight…
Vogg: Just wanna say: “Hello” to them and “See you next time”!
