Излиза METALLICA & SAN FRANCISCO SYMPHONY: S&M2

Съвместните концерти S&M2 на Metallica и San Francisco Symphony от 6-ти и 8-ми септември, 2019 г. са исторически на много нива: с тях се случва грандиозното откриване на San Francisco Chase Center, което отново обединява бандата и Симфоничния оркестър за първи път от 1999 г. след удостоения с ГРАМИ техен общ проект – албумът S&M, и представят за първи път първите симфонични версии на оригинални песни, написани и издадени след това.

Разпродадените концерти се радват на 40,000 фенове от близо 70 страни, както и на изключително медийно внимание. На 28-ми август, емоцията от концертите S&M2 ще бъде увековечена в албума на Metallica и San Francisco Symphony: S&M2. Изданието S&M2 ще излезе в разнообразни формати – от дигитална версия във всички водещи стрийминг платформи, до 4LP, 2CD, DVD и Blu-ray, лимитирани цветни винили 4LP + 2CD + Blu-ray Deluxe Box с включени ноти, китарни листове, плакати и много други ексклузивни материали. С този дългоочкван релийз, емоцията, наречена S&M2, може да бъде напълно преживяна и от тези, които не са успeли да присъстват на онези 2 незабравими вечери в Chase Center.

S&M2 е забележителен проект в дискографията на Metallica, и в музикален, и във визуален аспект. Продуциран от Greg Fidelman заедно с James Hetfield и Lars Ulrich, концертният албум S&M2 улавя повече от 2 часа и половина, в които James, Lars, Kirk Hammett и Robert Trujillo обединяват сили с близо 80 музиканти от Симфоничния оркестър на Сан Франциско, под ръководството на легендарния музикален директор на оркестъра Michael Tilson Thomas и диригента Edwin Outwater. Концертният филм излиза в чисто нов вариант, дело на Joe Hutching (Through The Never), и аудио-визуалната продукция е пренесена на друго ниво след октомври, 2019-та с над 3,700 кино прожекции в цял свят.
