If by some chance you missed to meet yourself with the Koreans HarryBigButton when we showed you their „King’s life“ (2012), then perhaps the release of the EP „Perfect storm“ would not accept an excuse to not do it. If you like fresh hard rock from exotic parts of the world, the several songs on „Perfect storm“ would be very well accepted by you, haha 🙂

In these short five songs again we encounter with the raspy voice of the Sungsoo Lee in combination with cheerful melodies and playful lyrics. And the iterance of the same lyrical parts – that may have already become typical of the group- gradually starts to have an intercepting effect. The next thing you know, is that you sing along (or at least in your mind) ‘ ‘Coffee, cigarettes, rock’n’roll’, “ I, I, I can’t control myself „( in ‘Control‘) or „You can run but you can’t hide“ (in ‘Circle pit’), for example.

My personal favorite among the compositions here, the melancholy self-titled ‘Perfect storm’, closes the EP-it with a more delayed than the other pieces and dark, pleasantly nostalgic melody.
The interesting cover art describes exactly colourfulness of the mood that the five compositions reverberate. ‘Perfect’ soundtrack for a similar mood during a spring storm like the one beyond the window.
